Free Art Review: One of my favorites

This Album has been a big part of my life lately. Even though it was released back in 2003-2004, this is when I fell in love with this band. My Chemical Romance's Album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" Has all of my favorite songs on it. And I really like the album artwork. This was a drawing by the frontman, Gerard Way, trying to explain the picture he wanted taken for the cover, but ended up just using the drawing instead.
I enjoy this album with all my freaking heart and it has a really really important meaning to me.

Critique me as usual.

Yeah, just another painting with light. I actually really like this one because of the contrast in black and white.
I don't really remember what  I did though.

"Several works by the renowned graffiti artist Banksy were sold yesterday evening (21 September 2011) in a packed saleroom at Bonhams, New Bond Street, as part of its Urban Art sale. Leading the way was a work featuring one of Banksy’s most iconic images, the monkey, entitled Monkey Detonator, which had attracted a pre-sale estimate of £70,000 – 90,000, and was sold for £97,250. Executed in 2000, this canvas displays the typically dark sense of humour which has endeared Banksy to both art collectors and the general public."

I picked this because I liked the way the artist posed with his sold painting and the acutal artwork itself.

Art In the News; Cheeming Boey

I saw an Ad for this guy and being a Charpie Artist myself found this crazy cool. I just really like how unique this is and how detailed these are.
I also found it cool that our drawing style is similar.

Art in the news

" The 28-ft-high work by the New York-based artist Miya Ando, entitled After 9/11, has been placed temporarily in a secluded angle of Battersea Park, south of the river Thames while a permanent home for it is sought. "
I thought this was cool and it kind of ties with the whole 10 year anniversary of 9/11. I really liked the thought process of it too. It's really cool to me.

Art Review; Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

I watch a lot of movies, but I haven't watched many new one lately.
But the Movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is to me me all time Favorite.
I really like how the more you watch it, you a more and more compeled to watch the extra background things and connect them to everything in the story line, to a point where you aren't evven watching the movie, you are watching the background.
I think the actors were very good too.

Critique me

Art Review; My Chemical Romance

So Saturday August 20th, I went to Chicago to go to the Honda Civic Tour with my mom and two of my best friends.
Manchester Orchestra opened, and Blink headlined.
But in between the two, was the band I came to see a second time.
My Chemical Romance.
They have been one of my favorite bands since Middle School and I was excited that my mom was going to come with me to this one, her being a new fan, also my friends, them also being their favorite band and also their first concert.
They came out and played a ton of songs I love, causing me to jump 3 feet in the air and scream at the top of my lungs.
They sounded amazing live and they had an amazing stage presense and entertained the crowd. Gerard (vocals) saying "The rules are, don't take your shirt off, and don't be an asshole."
They said a meaningful and quote worthy thank you and left the stage leaving the 1 in every 20 people there for them (the rest being there for Blink-182) wanting so much more.
This was definitley one of the best concerts I have been to so far.
I chose this picture because it has most of the band in it and I really like the smile Gerard has.
